Athens-Limestone Emergency Medical Services (EMS), is owned and operated by Huntsville Hospital Health
System with stations at Athens-Limestone Hospital, Athens Fire Station 2 and Ardmore Fire/Rescue.
Ambulances are staffed with highly trained and licensed EMT’s and Paramedics who are certified in Trauma Life
Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Pediatric Life Support, and credentialed by the State
Department of Public Health EMS and Trauma Division. Each ambulance is fully equipped with the latest
medical equipment to ensure that the best possible care is provided in emergency situations.
