SSV Announces New Director of Sales - Fire Apparatus Division

Please help us congratulate Jim Dunn as he has been promoted to our Director of Sales for our Fire Apparatus Division!

Jim has over 40 years of experience as a firefighter and EMT in the fire service. He has held numerous leadership positions in several organizations and is passionate about the fire service. He also has over four decades of experience in several manufacturers' sales, fire apparatus, and emergency vehicle manufacturing.

Jim is a native of Goochland County, Virginia, and resides in Mechanicsville, a suburb of Richmond. He and his wife Kathy have three children, two grandchildren, and two pups who “own the house and let him stay there!”

He is active with the Metro Richmond Flying Squad, a multi-jurisdictional, all volunteer on-scene Rehab team serving seven Metro Richmond counties.

He is a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, The Virginia State Fire Chief’s Association, the Virginia State Firefighter’s Association, the North Carolina Fire Chief’s Association, and the National Volunteer Fire Council. He also has coordinated National Honor Guard Training for fire departments, Law Enforcement, and other groups in Central Virginia.

In his spare time, he loves to cook, especially barbecue, and is a member of the Pitmaster Club, the Kansas City Barbecue Society, and the North Carolina Barbecue Society.
